Why The Lighthouse Center Is Different

The Lighthouse Center is designed around one simple truth: access changes outcomes.

By placing life-building services steps from home, families gain the time, stability, and support they need to move forward.

The Anchor Point Community

The difference between surviving and thriving for struggling families and essential workers.

Harborlight Homes created Anchor Point in Beverly, MA. The double buildings total 77 affordable two- and three-bedroom family units, built in two Phases (38 units in one building and 39 units in the other). A third building, The Lighthouse Center, will be the heart of the community.

Breaking the Cycle of Poverty

Scarcity limits possibilities and forces difficult choices.

The Lighthouse Center helps families move beyond survival by removing barriers to education, stability, and opportunity — replacing uncertainty with hope and momentum.

Proximity and Comprehensive Programming

When essential services are steps from home, families are more likely to use them.

Childcare, education, counseling, and support are no longer logistical hurdles — they are real opportunities that fit into daily life. Proximity turns possibility into progress.

What Happens at The Lighthouse Center

Every day, families at Anchor Point access essential supports through The Lighthouse Center — all in one place. From childcare and education to counseling and life-building resources, these core elements work together to foster independence, economic mobility, and long-term stability.
